Hello! I am Miss Courtney, and I have taught preschool for more than a decade. I am dedicated to providing a nurturing and safe learning environment that promotes social, emotional and academic growth and development in every child. I am very excited to be opening my preschool program in the Catalina Foothills area, which is home for me. I have taught in preschool centers, but much prefer the home based approach where I can teach in a way that I have seen success year after year. I am able to keep my class sizes small and focus on what's truly important.
I first opened Building Blocks Academy Preschool in Sahuarita when our family lived in Rancho Sahuarita. I still am involved with many of my preschool families and love watching my students grow and be successful! Some of my former students are now in college and beyond!

I attended Catalina Foothills High School where I met and later married my high school sweetheart, Phil. I studied Early Childhood Education at The University of Arizona. BEAR DOWN! Phil and I have two daughters. Morgan graduated from CFHS and will be attending the University of Arizona in the Fall and majoring in Elementary Education. Haleigh will be a Junior at CFHS this year and continues to be involved in choir and theatre. Our family loves spending time with family and friends as well as traveling, especially to anywhere Disney!!
